II Kings
by Gary DeVaney
I Kings 18:22 & 40
Elijah, God’s prophet, slit the throats of 450 Baal prophets. Catholic
Behold: This typical
introduction of Elijah, God’s prophet -hero, was in I Kings.
II Kings 1:9-12
Said Elijah to a Captain with his 50 men: If I be a man of God, let fire come down from Heaven and consume you and your 50.
Elijah successfully ordered this of God, two times, again with another Captain with 50 men.
Elijah's "miracle" proved
he is God's man by twice ordering God to instantly won-ton 102 soldiers. Think of it. From a man, as with Joshua, God is taking
murderous orders - again. No wonder prayer is popular among criminals and other power-crazies.
II Kings 1:16-17
Elijah told King Ahaziah: Because the King sent messengers to inquire about Beelzebub, he’ll die. He died.
Do superstitious people
fight to remain ignorant?
II Kings 2:8 Elijah
struck the river Jordan and it divided. Both Elijah and Elisha walked over on dry land. Once there,
God sent flaming horses and chariots between them and took Elijah up to Heaven in a whirlwind.
Why are these miracles
overlooked unlike Moses’ parting of The Red Sea? Did Elijah ascend to Heaven as Jesus
did? If so, how does this event not affect Jesus’ status?
I Kings 2:14 Elisha
struck the water, it divided and he crossed over.
II Kings 2:23-24
Elisha, (God's prophet) goes to Bethel. Some little
children called him bald-head. Elisha cursed them, in God's name, and two she bears came out of the woods and tore 42 of the
children to pieces. KJV & Catholic
What does it take to
disgust you concerning this God and His insane Prophets?
II Kings 4:32-35
Elisha found a dead child, laid on him, gave him mouth to mouth; the child came to life.
Move over Jesus, again.
Doesn’t this steal some of Jesus’ thunder?
II Kings 6:18 Elisha prayed
for the Lord to smite people with blindness, and again, God did what Elisha ordered.
God answered a prayer
to make people blind? Decide, Is Elisha a bad man?
II Kings 6:28-29
War, famine and inflation caused a woman to complain to the King of Israel.
She told him: This woman said to me: Give up your son that we may eat him today, then tomorrow, we will eat my son. So, we
boiled my son and ate him. The next day, I said to her: Now, give up your son that we may eat him. But, she hid her son.
Ah, this Bible’s
moronic, imbecilic, monkey-mind mentality.
II Kings 6:33 The
King said: This evil is from the Lord. Why should I trust in the Lord any longer.
Oh-oh, a thinker! This
could mean real trouble!
II Kings 8:7-15
Ben-hadad, King of Aram lay sick. He sent
Hazael to Elisha with great gifts to find out if God would make him well. Elisha told Hazael to tell Ben-hadad he will recover;
however, God showed Elisha he would in fact die. Hazael asked Elisha why he was crying. Elisha replied: Because I know
you will become King in his place and the evil you will inflict on the Israelites. You will burn their cities, slay their
youth with the sword, dash their little children to pieces and lay open their pregnant women. Hazael returned to King
Ben-hadad and told him Elisha said he would surely recover. However, the next day, Hazael spread a wet cloth over the Kings
face, so that he died. Hazael reigned in his stead.
God set what stage for
little children and pregnant women?
God had His prophet,
Elisha, lie to serve His agenda, and to be a traitor to Israel?
II Kings 9:12-13
Jehu is appointed King of Israel.
Could Jehu be a nice
guy, for a change?
II Kings 9:16-24
Jehu drove his chariot to Jezreel where Joram lay ill. Joram sent a driver to Jehu to ask if all is well. Joram sent a second
driver to Jehu to see if all is well. Then, he drove to Jehu himself and Jehu put an arrow through his heart.
II Kings 9:27 Jehu
then chased King Ahaziah of Judah. He
pierced and murdered him too.
II Kings 9:30-37
Jehu ordered 3 eunuchs to throw Jezebel out of a window to the street below. Her blood spilled. Jehu drove over her body,
stopped, ate, drank and ordered her buried as she was a King's daughter. They found only her skull, hands and feet as the
dogs ate her in accordance to God's prophesy. The corps of Jezebel was said to be like dung in the field.
II Kings 9:6-17
Jehu slew Ahab’s descendants; 70 of them were Princes. He put their heads in baskets
and piled them in two heaps at the entrance of the city. He then found 42 more relatives, then slew them all, leaving
no survivors of the family of Ahab.
Again, what is God's and God's heroes sacred policy concerning Prisoners
Of War (P.O.Ws)?
II Kings 18:27 Has
he not sent me to the men who sit on the wall, that they might eat their own dung (shit) and drink their own piss with you?
KJV
Don’t you want
your child to learn all that the Holy and beautiful Bible has to teach?
II Kings 10:19-27
Jehu summoned all the Baal prophets, by lying. He proclaimed he would give a great sacrifice to Baal. Jehu also proclaimed
that whoever was absent shall not live. They trusted Jehu and came, without exception, into the temple of Baal. Jehu stationed 80 men around
the temple with orders: If any one of them gets away, you will pay for it with your life. After offering the sacrifice,
Jehu said to the guards: Go in and slay them. They murdered them all, then smashed down the building of Baal and turned it
into a latrine.
Beliefs are but commitments
to feelings. One doesn’t scratch one’s butt without a feeling.
If you create or experience
a thought, nothing happens - unless you attach a feeling to it.
Why would you have another
commit to your beliefs (feelings) except to manipulate them into committing to you? When you throw out your beliefs (statements
without evidence), aren’t you testing to see if someone else will also commit to your feelings, in essence, to commit
to you? If you won them over, could their support to you amount to power and profit over them? Would you knowingly steal another’s
will (soul), to have them forsake their own will, in order to serve your will? If successful, wouldn’t they be working
for you without pay? Wouldn’t that be a form of slavery? Wouldn’t you be a god over them?
Do some people first
throw out wild and nonsensical beliefs just to draw attention?
The Bible is the “how
to” book of master-slave relationships.
My agenda is to
debate Bible topics, chapter and verse, with anyone capable of debating Bible topics, chapter and verse. I will not argue
with them for control of the agenda. If they know nothing, chapter and verse, then argument for control over the agenda, is
all they have. If they successfully debate chapter and verse, I usually learn from them. GWD
